Terrain + Uranium = Terrainium

Terrainium is an interpretation of a traditional Japanese rock garden in which the mass and solidity of boulders are reimagined in response to light and translucency. This playful lamp invites viewers to interact with light and shadows on the sand, illuminating the ambiguous, rock-like sculptures. Resembling a tranquil salt or travertine field, the mini landscape of lights is intended to invoke a meditative experience.
